Whether you go antiquing often but are looking to change it up and meet new people, are curious but carless in DC, or are somewhere in the middle, this is for you!
We’ll take a private bus from DC to Lucketts, where we’ll stop at four antique malls. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to wander around and find your next favorite piece of vintage art, an antique trinket or two, and unique furniture.
After shopping, we’ll head to downtown Leesburg, where we’ll enjoy a locally catered lunch and you’ll have time to explore even more shops and spots before the bus takes us back home.
Note: This day is especially for you if you’re interested in repurposing your vintage finds into something new and/or crafty.
Learn how to turn antique glassware into a candle, fabric and old doilies into beautiful garlands, or find a creative use for something else! Meadow Creative Retreats founder Mia is also a local artist who repurposes vintage in her stained glass art (@strangergoodsdc), business, and home. She’ll give everyone tips on what to look for and a gift bag with some basics for transforming your treasures.
Itinerary:
9 am: Bus leaves from Dupont Circle Metro
10 am: Stop 1 - Arrive at Lucketts Store
11 am: Leave for stop 2
11:10 am: Stop 2 - Arrive at Hummingbirds’ Nest, On a Whim, and Rust and Feathers (3 antique malls at this stop)
12:45 pm: Leave for downtown Leesburg
1 pm: Stop 3 - Lunch in downtown Leesburg (with time for solo wandering!)
2 pm: Bus leaves from Leesburg
3 pm: Arrive back at Dupont Circle Metro

Refund policy:
We do our best to balance the advance planning required for our events with understanding that things pop up! Full refunds will be given 14 days after booking. After that and up to 14 days before the event, cancellations will be refunded 50%. Any cancellations or bookings less than 14 days from the retreat are non-refundable, but we will work with you to transfer credit.
If using a payment plan, this policy applies to the amount paid at the time the refund is requested.
